Description

This mod just makes a simple QOL change to the messages you receive when interacting with shrines by simply appending a short description of the blessing’s effect to the end of them. I made it mostly for personal use, as I could never remember which blessing had which effect (and it was annoying to always have to go into the active effects menu, find the blessing, and read the description).

Requirements

Dragonborn and Dawnguard. If you really need a separate version without records for one or both expansions, feel free to delete the DLC shrine messages from the ESP yourself using xEdit; it’s super easy.

Installation

Just drop the ESP in your Data folder like any other mod.

Compatibility

This mod only alters the messages for the shrines; the blessings and shrines themselves are unaffected, so it should be compatible with anything. The changes are simple enough that Wrye Bash should detect this mod’s ESP as a “patch” and merge it into the Bashed Patch. The only potential compatibility issue I could see happening is the messages being “inaccurate” if you use some mod that completely changes shrine blessing effects; in which case, you probably don’t need this mod anyway.
